Though lately they have started pricing some of their other products like Google Maps but mostly Google’s hundreds of services are available to common user for free. Almost 95% of Google’s profit comes from serving ads to its search engine through targeted marketing.
Do you ever wonder which are the most expensive keywords in Google Adwords? Last year WordStream released data of their studies that showed the top 20 most expensive keywords in Google Adwords. Very easily a trend can be drawn that the most costly categories are when user is on internet in search of help and will end up being a long term paying customer. Also, these keywords are mostly bought by companies after paying high values as the relation with acquired customer will be long and high paying for them.
