BigRock hosting review, a host you can trust

When it comes to hosting a website for people without credit card their are very limited options available in India. This mostly happens because
- Most of good hosting companies are US based and do not accept net banking and debit cards.
- Use of PayPal for shopping have been banned in India by RBI.
- Credit card are still out of reach of many people.
I earlier used to purchase hosting and domain using my PayPal account, the method which no longer works. This gave me a chance to search for a hosting firm that accepts Indian debit cards and was reliable enough to trust upon. My search landed me to BigRock.in an Indian firm with which earlier I was in talk for sponsoring WordCamp Jabalpur 2011.
After hearing good reviews from many people who were already using their services, I decide to give BigRock a try and till now they haven’t put me down. BigRock is a cost effective web hosting provider that I recommend now to everyone. Till now chat support is awesome and queries are solved withing few hours of registering a ticket. Hosting plans are true value for money and have features including
- Unlimited hosting space.
- Unlimited Bandwidth
- Unlimited domain and email address
- Features like one-click installation of WordPress, Joomla etc.
If you are planning to have your website and searching for a host, you can click here to contact BigRock and choose plan as per your need. In case you need my help to set up your website for free, give me a shout via comment below.

Okay, but have you tried the prices of JustHost? I have been using it for a few years now and is satisfied till now.
For now, BigRock is a costly deal for long term plans.
But well, everything depends up on case by case scenario.
I haven’t tried justhost but do they accept Indian debit card. The issue I face is, paypal doesn’t works any more and I don’t have a credit card. Does JustHost solves this problem?
This is the worst hosting ever. They suspend the account without notice just for exceeding the bandwidth ! They also steal the domain for their own purpose, I had really bad experience and I lost my 2 years hardwork :’(
Sorry to listen about your problem but I wrote this on the basis of my relation with BigRock for last 1 year and till now I am a satisfied customer.
I think you can contact their customer support and they will be able to solve your problem.
I wont recommend bigrock for professional webmasters, who want much disk space,
besides writing unlimitd on every plan, what they give is 15GB
and whoever crosses it,will found its account suspended…if u have doubt, that i am fooling u guys,go have a live chat with them, and ask them straight forward..
Honestly speaking, they have the worst customer care and support features
Not sure about your experience but for me things have worked like charm till date.
Don’t use bigrock, they are good for domain registrations.there server hardrive failed and then the backup which they uploaded was 3 months old.Lost most recent changes, got doomed.
I will switch to hostgator soon.Hope this experience helps people.
I am lately getting similar complaints about BigRock from lot of people. My and few of my friends experience has been awesome so far. Lets see if more people turn up with replies about their experience with BigRock.
